Congratulations on finishing the biome tutorials!
Now, we are going to put it all into practice.
Morning on your first day
What biome have you landed in? Take a look at your surroundings and make a mental note of available resources.
Gather resources
Your focus should be finding a safe place.
Remember, it doesn't have to be fancy. Your shelter can be a dirt hut with a window or built into the side of a mountain.
Stay safe!
Monsters aren't the only way to die in survival mode. Be careful near the edge of long drops, when digging in mines, and when in water (you can drown). Weather can also be deadly, so if you find yourself in a lightning storm, find shelter.
Stay close!

Don't wander too far from your shelter.

Make a torch for light.

Monsters may be hiding in dark places, even during the day. If you are mining, don't dig too deep without light and a weapon.

Some monsters can fit through small spaces, so make sure your shelter doesn't have a big opening.

At dusk, you should be safe in your shelter.

Night comes quickly. Don't be caught off guard.
Dying in game
It's very possible this will happen. If it does, you will lose your gathered resources. Wait until day light, and if you know where you died, you can return to gather your dropped items.
